Screw terminology
1. The difference between screws, nuts, nuts, bolts, screws, studs:
The standard statement is that there are no screws and nuts.
Screws are commonly known as "screws" with external threads.
The shape of the nut is usually hexagonal, and the inner hole is internally threaded to match the bolt and tighten the relevant parts.
The nut is a common name and the standard should be called "nut".
The head of the bolt is generally hexagonal and the stem has external threads.
The screw is small, the head has a flat head, a crosshead, etc., and the stem has external threads.
The studs should actually be called "double studs", with external threads on both ends, and the middle is usually a polished rod. The long end of the thread is used to connect to the deep hole and the short one is connected to the nut.

3. Definition of thread:
A thread is a shape that has a uniform helix on the outer or inner surface of the solid.
Thread action
1. Fastening and connection: Suitable for most screw products at this stage.
2. Transmission action (displacement effect): The micrometer used for QC inspection size.
3. Sealing effect: such as the connection and sealing of the pipeline.
History of thread development
Machine thread: Before assembly, the hole is drilled and tapped on the assembly. The inner teeth of the tapped teeth are the same as the outer teeth of the screw, and assembled with a small torque.
Self-tapping thread: Drill holes in the assembly before assembly, without the need to tap the inner teeth, assemble with a large torque.
Self-drilling thread: Used directly on the assembly, the screw drilling and tapping is formed once.
Screw processing method
1. Turning (Turning)
Reducing the material to the desired shape by removing the material
Advantages: high processing accuracy, no mold restrictions
Insufficient: high production cost and slow processing speed
2. Forging
Extruding the material by external force to deform it to achieve the desired shape
Advantages: fast production speed and low cost, suitable for mass production
Insufficient: Forming is limited by the mold, and the cost of the mold for complex products is high.
3. Cold heading: It is a process in which the metal wire is not heated, and the mold is pressed and deformed by means of an external force. The cold heading process is only one type of forging process.

The general flow chart is as follows:
Pan order operation
Refers to the original wire rod purchased by the raw material manufacturer. One disk element mainly includes the following parameters: A, brand B, product name C, specification D, material E, furnace number or batch number F, quantity or weight.
The main chemical components of carbon steel discs are: C, Mn, P, S, Si, Cu, Al, and the lower the content of Cu and Al, the better.
Drawing process
In order to achieve the wire diameter we need (for example, to 3.5mm draw line).
Cold heading
Through the interaction between the molds, the wire is cut, and the wire is first cut into a screw blank to form a head, a cross groove (or other head type), a thread diameter and a rod length, and a rounded corner.
Description: It can be designed according to the customer's needs. The commonly used head type is P-head, B-head, F-head, T-head and other common groove type with cross slot, slot, plum blossom groove, hexagon socket.
Dental surgery
The cold-rolled blank is taken out of the thread, and the tooth pattern is formed by the interaction between the movable tooth plate and the fixed tooth plate.
